Garden Basics
Help for beginners
- a reference for everyone else
by Kay Gee

These guides are designed to help beginners to establish their gardens. More experienced gardeners may also find that some thinking has changed since they first learned to garden and some of the old techniques have been updated. However, my advice to all beginning gardeners is to take your cues from the good gardeners in your neighbourhood. Their experience and knowledge of local conditions is invaluable - and their advice is most often given with great generosity and pleasure. New items (marked as new ! ) are added regularly so keep checking back.
